Telstra Best of Business Awards 2023
Incredibly, it’s been a year since Container Deposit Systems won the SA “Embracing Innovation” award at Telstra Best of Business Awards 2022.
Small and medium-sized businesses play a unique and essential role as the foundation for Australia’s financial, cultural, and social prosperity. Telstra Best of Business Awards’ goal is to recognize and reward businesses moving Australia forward and inspiring the next generation through their ingenuity and resilience.
Embracing Innovation
This year, CDS had the honour of presenting the SA finalists and winner of the 2023 SA “Embracing Innovation” category at the award ceremony and gala dinner hosted at Adelaide Oval.
We want to congratulate Silentium Defence for winning this year’s Embracing Innovation state award, as well as all six South Australian finalists for their commitment to innovating with technology to develop solutions for challenges faced by modern Australia: Consunet, Hubble.sh, Picket Feds, Silentium Defence, Succession Ecology, and our partner Sullivan Consulting.
Promoting Sustainability
We would also like to give a shout-out to all the finalists for the “Promoting Sustainability” award. This category rewards businesses for reducing their environmental impact by driving sustainable change within their industry for a cleaner and healthier planet.
At CDS, we believe that all businesses as well as the community should have access to the tools to contribute to a healthier planet.
We were established with a vision to oversee the implementation of improved operational practices in recycling facilities. These improvements translate into opportunities for more and larger recycling facilities around the country; which finally translates into more people having access to contributing to a healthier planet.
We are happy to be part of the circular economy, as a business, and as members of the community. And we can’t be prouder knowing that each year more and more organizations are born to develop innovative solutions that support green sustainable practices.
